This rayon challis has a tight weave, a thread count of 32×32 and a thread type of 45×45. This medium to light weight rayon weighs 115 gsm (grams per square meter) giving it a beautiful drape. The rayon challis is a translucent fabric so lining the fabric may be required depending on the application. The rayon challis fabric has a remarkably soft and fluid texture with a pleasant touch on the skin. It is often dyed or printed on due to its versatile rayon content.
